Overview

In our lifetime, we use several glass bottles for various purposes. From milk to soft drinks and bottled drinks to jams, pickles, preservatives, and other food items, glass bottles have become the go-to container. This has increased multi-fold with the government discouraging people from using plastic bottles, a greater focus on environmental impact, and ease of cleaning. Due to this, glass bottle consumption has increased, but at the same time, people are also dumping these as waste items. 

It takes a large amount of time for glass bottles to decompose. 4000+ years. And if we were to throw out all the glass bottles that we use, we as human beings would soon be walking on broken glass

Product Idea

As human beings, we love to design our houses whether it is our own or rented. We also love to personalize our study, office space, desk, etc. As we start the activity of personalizing our space, we go ahead and start buying things from shops. Over some time, we end up buying a lot many items and at the same time, we get bored and throw a lot of it out. Again, we waste our money and also destroy the planet with the waste that we throw out

One simple solution that can help the cause of recycling our glass waste and keep us and the environment happy is to create decorative art with glass bottles. These can then be used for multiple purposes such as flower vases, pen stands, trinket holders, etc. 

Rohan Inc. - is a new entrant into this space. Founded by Rohan Subramonian, the company's core focus is to recycle glass to be used for day-to-day purposes and which looks artistic. Our bottles are recycled using state-of-the-art equipment with great designers who are passionate about their work and support larger societal causes. Our products are sold under the brand umbrella - Roglass Creations 

Product Design

Roglass products are created using innovative methodologies. With designers providing critical inputs, the products are handmade by the underprivileged and economically downtrodden. This provides them with a livelihood and helps them in their upliftment. Roglass is made with contemporary designs, but also incorporates design principles from ancient Indian civilization giving importance to Indus Valley culture. Our designs are one of a kind and every product is unique. Designs are not repeated

Product Marketing

Roglas Creations is marketed through multiple modes, but we primarily focus on social media. We believe that our products are contemporary and are aimed at the younger population who live and breathe social and economic causes.

2. Social dialogue - We believe that one needs to have a small footprint when it comes to spending money on marketing activities. To follow this, our marketing is word of mouth largely. We use our customers who are our brand ambassadors to communicate and share the idea and concept of Roglass. With a talented pool of satisfied customers, there is no better alternative.
3. Exhibitions - We are present in a lot of exhibitions across Bangalore today. From handloom fairs, and book fairs to trade fairs, you can find our creations present in these fairs. 
4. School Network - Our latest marketing activity is aimed at schools. We believe that educational institutions are prime locations where our products can be marketed and sold. With impressionable minds, our ideas find a quick avenue 

Roglass is currently present in most of the metros and upcoming metros in India. We have a wide presence in these cities and our focus is to continue to spread across the length and breadth of India. As of today, we have sold products worth INR 50 million and have successfully saved the planet over INR 500 million in environmental and societal savings. Our goal is to continue our journey and become the largest Glass Saving firm in India by 2025
